Games used to engage people in Urban Planning

Block by Block

Block By Block is a joint project with Mojang and the UN which uses a Minecraft-style building game to involve youth with town planning and to upgrade 300 public spaces by 2016. Block By Block sets out to allow those who get involved to show urban planners and decision makers their own ideas for the future of the cities they live in.
